I have been making craft boutique wines for clients in the Santa Ynez Valley since 2014.

My foundation has been to guarantee the wines best quality and character from exceptional vineyards.

My journey and passion for wine has led me around the world for harvests in Europe,

Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Crafting wine at premier wineries entailed hard work, cultural nuances, patience and an understanding of nature.

With a world view, my winemaking vision created Sapien Wine sourced from Santa Ynez and surrounding Santa Barbara County vineyards.

I grew up in a family of land conservationists, engineers and scientists so my roots are deep.

My summers and vacations were tied to the land.

I received my Masters from U.C. Davis in Viticulture and Enology. Double Major undergrad in Biochem/Bioarchaeology.

My journey has unfolded to create Sapien boutique wines that cater to the inner humanity of us all!
